HOW WOULD I BE
BILLED FOR MY AIR CARGO?
billing method is based on either the actual weightor the dimensional/volume (Dim)weight of your air cargo; whichever is greater. Dim weight is for the space your cargo
occupies. Dim weight billing is mostly for items that are very light and bulky e.g. baby car seats, car bumpers etc. Dim weight is calculated using this method (Length x Width x Height
(ALL IN NCHES) divided by 139). Please request for our rates from firstname.lastname@example.org
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM WEIGHT?
minimum weight for air cargo from the USA to Nigeria is 20LBS/9KG. We have a different minimum weight for other countries other than Nigeria.
HOW LONG IS THE
TRANSIT TIME FOR MY AIR CARGO FROM USA TO NIGERIA?
It takes approximately 4-6 working days after your shipment leaves our warehouse in the USAfor your shipment to be ready for pick up at our
Lagos office in Nigeria. There might be circumstances beyond our control, where the transit time may go beyond our normal 4-6 working days. Be rest assured that in the event of circumstances of undue
delays we shall adequately notify you.
WHAT'S YOUR CUTOFF DAYS FOR RECEIVING SHIPMENT?
This largely depends on the final destination of your shipment, however, for shipments bound to Nigeria Friday 2pm.
DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE?
Yes, we can make arrangements for insurance. The option for insurance is not compulsory. The insurance premium depends on the value of the cargo to be insured.
HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENTS FOR MY SHIPMENT?
Payment must be made into our corporate bank account(s) either in the USA or Nigeria as we do not accept physical cash. Payment must be made within 7(seven) days after receiving our
invoice to avoid demurrage/storage charges.
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO USE YOUR SERVICES?
Signing up for our service is very easily. All you need to do is to visit
our website @ www.citizensglobalcargo.net and download our shipment authorization forms, fill and submit the forms with the necessary documentations.
WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP FROM?
We have a global operation. Feel free to request for shipping requirements.
DO YOU SEND OUT SHIPPING ESTIMATES BEFORE SHIPPING?
This may be provided upon request from either our local office or international offices.
CAN I SEND SHIPMENTS FROM DIFFERENT VENDORS TO WAREHOUSE?
Yes. So long as you have a valid receipt/invoice accompanying all your shipments. We equally need to receive a pre-arrival notice from you. We have a consolidation period of
7(seven) days to receive all your shipments before we ship out.
